The Ministry of Health must disclose names of responsible authorities

“The ministry of health is accountable for the drug shortages and must disclose the names of authorities responsible” CEO of the Iranian Hemophilia Society (IHS) insisted and went on to say “6800 Iranian hemophiliacs faced shortage of factor concentrates in recent weeks and unfortunately despite multiple announcements and schemes by the ministry of health, this ministry has failed to provide patients with the required medications.”
Ahmad Ghavidel highlighted “irreversible physical disabilities” as the least side effect of the current conditions, and mentioned that patients’ intercity trips in search of factor concentrates have increased. “This state of insecurity is threatening patients’ psychosocial stability and provoking spontaneous bleeding episodes” he announced.
Exposing the fact that the ministry of health is only now planning a meeting to fight the shortages in the second half of this year, Ghavidel one again insisted that the people in charge of the current crisis must be held accountable for their irresponsible actions.
