Patients’ representative in the Hemophilia case offered a plea-bargain based on previous court rulings

While stating the patients’ strong will for negotiations on the issue of the blood contamination scandal prior to 1997, Ahmad Ghavidel noted that despite this still 1400 new cases are going through the same judicial process as the previous cases. Over 1400 patients have to pay an expert analysis fee of 1000 US dollars which is impossible for most patients. Out of the 200 patients called to court only 86 have been able to pay the heavy fee and the rest have asked the IHS to relay their voice to the highest authorities for help.
